Mira is first & foremost a committed listener that found herself surrounded by inspiration from the vibrant soundscapes of her city. Cofounder and resident DJ of the Cairo-based record store Yellow Tape Records & Culture, Mira's appreciation for warm and unique sounds intermingled with bold sonic experiences has made her one of the next most promising underground acts. Her curatorial contributions to the local music community over the past three years have gained her attention from Egyptian artists and crowd alike— and cultivated her tastes for house, techno-house and electro.
